In 19th century England, porcelain Staffordshire couple sculptures were a popular decorative item. The couples were sculpted participating in different activities as a pair and oftentimes, the man and woman figures were sculpted separately but with the intention of being sold and displayed together as a duo. These photographs are of the backs of these porcelain couples as they tell a bit of a different story than the front.
Artwork comes framed and is 43" x 43" (including frame). Printed on photographic paper and laminated to archival substrate; placed within lacquered wood frame.
